15 Vegan Snacks to Share with Everyone on Game Day

Super Bowl Sunday is filled with delicious savoury options. However, the most popular choices tend to be heavy and cheesy. Vegans, along with those looking for lighter options, are left scratching their heads. There must be more than chips and popcorn. We’ve compiled a list of vegan snack options that you can enjoy on game day. They are as good, if not better, than the classic non-vegan options. These savoury treats are sure to please both vegans and omnivores.

Vegan Spinach and Artichoke Dip

  • With the addition of cauliflower and cashews, classic spinach and artichoke dip can be made vegan. They create a thick, creamy base for the artichokes and spinach blended. We add mustard, lemon juice and garlic to mimic the rich, savoury flavours of sour cream cheese and cheese. Serve this hot treat with tortilla chips for scooping.

Cheese-Free Sweet Potato “Quesadillas”

  • You might be a little sceptical about quesadillas without cheese, but you should try it. This recipe’s filling is roasted sweet potatoes mashed with pickled jalapenos and scallions. When cooking quesadillas, it is important to have a crispy exterior that contrasts with the soft interior. The salsa is a great dip!

Korean Fried Cauliflower

  • This recipe gives crispy fried cauliflower a Korean twist. We make a batter with sesame seeds and coconut flake for extra crispiness. After the cauliflower has been fried, you can add either sweet or spicy chilli sauce to it. Finally, garnish with more sesame seeds, sliced scallions, and serve.

  • Making homemade potato chips is a great way to keep your snack table lively. After frying the potatoes thinly in hot oil, we add salt and za’atar to the chips while they are still hot. There are many seasoning options, but miso soup or Thai coconut red curried are not available on supermarket shelves.
